As I sit flicking through the local 'rag', scouring every corner of the 'Employment' section, the reality begins to sink in.....
Gone are the variety of job-listings, those positions that used to spill-over to the next page, possibly the one after, sadly, a thing of the past.Suddenly, more and more the advertisements are aimed to 'work-from-home', but doing what?
Don't be fooled people! There's no such thing as 'get-rich-quick'.....especially if you see the words, mail-orders, immediately followed by absurd offers of income! You don't have to be a genius to know, anything that involves door-to-door canvassing; your PC & telephone, mail-orders etc etc..will not bring home the 'bacon'! Where have all the real jobs gone???
Imagine my absolute delight, when I saw someone asking for in-store help?! The ad stood out boldy, SHOP ASSISTANT-'Person required, 5 days per week, exp.essential! Enquiries: ########
Do I dare? You betcha! And in the face of a global recession, financial crisis, unemployment, high-cost of living, collapsed health-care, housing chaos, etc etc etc....I, have a job interview! The title may fall short of any magnificent or glamorous other, but a job, none the less!Just goes to show you, nothing, is impossible, not even when we think there's no 'hope'.....there's ALWAYS hope, when we have put all our cares, in God's hands.
